Rochester, MI
08/28/2023 04:07 PM
Advance your position with a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Oakland University. This six course program integrates vital business analytics and technical skills tailored to Nonprofit Professionals. All virtual - 3 hour classes (6-9 PM) meet once weekly for 11 months. Doable!

Our  curriculum aligns with NonProfit Academic Centers Council guidelines, and is taught by leaders in the nonprofit sector. Bring your daily struggles to class for new perspectives and nonprofit leadership best practices. The next six-course series begins Tuesday, September 12, with Management and Best Practices, taught by Susan Harding, PhD, CEO of OLHSA. You can, though, begin with any course during the year.

MNA Members receive a 25% discount when you register for the entire six-course Nonprofit Management Certificate and can pay for it all at once before you start. That brings the total down to $3127.50. If you choose to register for one course at a time, the fee for each is $695. The NPMC website is where you can find more information.

I'm happy to have a conversation with you, if you'd like, to help you decide if this program will fit your needs professionally and personally.

Testimonials:

I continue to recommend the program to colleagues. Micah 6 was on the cusp of major growth. Lessons learned, we needed. The program really prepared me for all the things I was needing to know in that period of growth. Absent the program the lessons would have come slowly. And then – the networking - a number of fellow students became partners, board members… Coleman Yoakum, Executive Director, Micah 6 Community, Pontiac

The program gave me all I needed at the time: information, tools and how to access those tools...Terese Teasley, Founding Director, Pontiac Community Alliance.

...this program lends credibility to me as a professional ... so much more than moving the needle on education. I had more on the ground experience than a lot of my fellow students, I found value in being able to lend value to their learning experience... It was also a good opportunity to be among other leaders… and expand my network... I loved learning about SMARTIE goals ... It was a game changer…every organization I’ve been involved with I have introduced to SMARTIE goals. It continues to inform my work. NPMC Grad 2020, Sommer Brock, former VP Development, Pontiac Community Foundation, now Executive Director, Accent Pontiac.
