The Woodward Dream Show
The Woodard Dream Show presented By Comerica Bank and
sponsored by WLLZ and Meijer returns for the 2023 season. This year, we
celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 65th
anniversary of Ramchargers, and MOPAR. This spectacular hot rod, custom,
cruiser, and muscle car show begins on Friday, August 18th, supplementing
the automotive passion and tradition seen on Woodward Avenue throughout the
Woodward Dream Cruise.
Friday’s Show will pay tribute to 70 years of Corvette and
feature a never-before-seen display of one Corvette from each production year,
including the one of one 1983 Corvette that is held in the National Corvette
Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky. This unique and legendary display will be one
you won’t want to miss. A variety of food trucks and a Kid’s Zone presented by
Meijer make this event one for the whole family. Not to mention live music from
the band Katmandu, Captured Detroit, and the Brendon Lindsley Band.
To wrap up an iconic weekend, Saturday’s itinerary includes the
M1 Cruise-In, an invited parade of 200 cars that will cruise the legendary
Woodward Avenue and throughout downtown Pontiac. But the excitement doesn’t
stop there! Anyone can jump into an M1 fleet car with a professional driver for
a Race Speed Track Experience on the M1 Circuit! Racetracks not your thing?
Motor City Powersports will be on site with an off-roading activation of
off-road vehicles. Food trucks and live music for Saturday include The Act Band
and Mob Opera.
