South Shore Realtors® is the second largest Realtor® Trade Association in Massachusetts serving over 3,000 members across the South Shore. Each year, members nominate fellow members for a Realtor® of the Year, Realtor® of Outstanding Service and Affiliate of the Year award for recognition of their extraordinary contributions to South Shore Realtors® and the real estate industry.

Association members Mary D’Ambra of William Raveis Real Estate in Norwell was chosen as the 2018 Realtor® of the Year, Maureen Mansfield of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Scituate as 2018 Realtor® of Outstanding Service and Lisa Larkin of Stoughton, senior loan officer at Shamrock Financial, Inc., as Affiliate of the Year. They will be recognized at the Association’s Installation & Awards Gala on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Plymouth Memorial Hall in Plymouth. 

                Mary D’Ambra joined an elite group of professionals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the real estate profession when she was selected as South Shore Realtors® 2018 Realtor® of the Year. D’Ambra serves her local and state associations in numerous capacities including treasurer of South Shore Realtors® and chairperson of its Diversity Task Force and Finance and Budget Committee. In addition to these responsibilities, D’Ambra is a member of South Shore Realtors®’ Executive Committee, Contract and Negotiation Task Force, Board of Directors, Building Refresh Task Force and a member of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) board of directors and contributing member of MAR’s education committee. D’Ambra is a recognized Sterling R investor in the Realtor® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and advocates Realtor® issues on local, state and federal levels to protect homeowners and the real estate industry. She is also a founding member and 2018 Treasurer of the Women’s Council of Realtors® - South Shore Chapter. 

D’Ambra was recognized by the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® during its annual conference this September and represented South Shore Realtors® for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) REALTOR® of the Year award.

                Mansfield was selected as the association’s 2018 Realtor® of Outstanding Service, an honor is bestowed upon an association member who has made significant contributions to South Shore Realtors® over a period of years and has demonstrated volunteerism within the South Shore community. Mansfield currently serves on the South Shore Realtors® board of directors. She has been a member of South Shore Realtors® since 1994 and has served on mediation, grievance, budget and finance, professional standards and community service committees and task forces. Mansfield traveled to Alabama with the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. Her volunteerism spans the South Shore and includes using her talents to organize and participate in variety shows to benefit multiple charities. 

                Larkin was chosen as the association’s 2018 Affiliate of the Year. An affiliate member is a professional who does not engage in real estate brokerage but is related to the real estate industry and has interests in the industry and association objectives. Larkin demonstrated her commitment to the association by assisting the association in launching a Young Professionals Network and serving as the co-chair of the YPN Advisory Task Force and a member of the association’s Education and Community Service Task Forces. Within her community, she is a current Stoughton town meeting representative, past chair of the Intergovernmental Relations Committee, and a past active volunteer and PTO Board member of Gibbons Elementary School.
