The City of Carson, in partnership with California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), is proud to announce the continuation of the Small Business Growth Academy, an initiative designed to equip local entrepreneurs and small business owners with the knowledge and tools needed for success. Registration is now open for the next session starting Friday March 7, providing a unique opportunity for business owners to enhance their skills and grow their enterprises.
The Small Business Growth Academy was established in 2023 as a collaborative effort between the City of Carson and CSUDH to empower local entrepreneurs with essential business knowledge. Since its inception, the academy has successfully graduated over 100 small business owners, providing them with strategic insights and practical tools to navigate the competitive market. The program has evolved over the years to incorporate emerging business trends, ensuring participants receive up-to-date and relevant information to support their growth and sustainability.
The Small Business Growth Academy offers expert-led workshops covering essential business topics such as financial management, marketing strategies, management and leadership, accessing capital and technology . Participants will gain valuable insights from industry professionals and receive hands-on support to navigate the challenges of running a successful business.
