The Carson Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the appointment of Leah Skinner as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. With a proven track record of leadership and community engagement, Leah Skinner is poised to lead the Chamber into an exciting new era of growth and innovation.
Ms. Skinner brings over 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and economic development. Previously serving as Executive Director of the La Verne and Placentia Chamber of Commerce and Membership Director of the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce, Leah has consistently demonstrated her ability to foster collaboration, promote local businesses, and strengthen community ties.

As CEO, Ms. Skinner will focus on key initiatives, including expanding membership, enhancing resources for local entrepreneurs, and spearheading programs to stimulate economic growth. With a commitment to inclusivity and innovation, she aims to make the Carson Chamber of Commerce a central hub for progress in the region.

Leah has just completed Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) Academy, WACE Academy is a three-day (three-year) high quality summer program on chamber management essentials geared for today’s chamber executives and professional staff. It has become the leading training program totally devoted to chamber professionals, which further underscores her dedication to professional excellence and community development.
The Carson Chamber of Commerce has been a cornerstone of the community since 1962, providing invaluable support to local businesses and fostering economic opportunities throughout the region. Under Leah Skinner’s leadership, the Chamber is eager to continue building on this legacy.
