The SSP Chessmates, a chess playing group at Senior Services Plus (SSP) in Alton, IL is seeking more players! SSP has reached out to the St. Louis Chess Club to see if any of their members had the availability to come out to meet with our members and teach those who are new to the game or help others improve their game.

SSP is excited to announce that on Monday, March 31st, members of the St. Louis Chess Club will be coming out to SSP for a meet and greet and to play some casual games of chess. Furture meetings will be scheduled for free chess instruction! This event is free to attend and is open to the public. 

Can't make it on the 31st? The SSP Chessmates meet every Monday from 9am-11am at Senior Services Plus. No sign up or membership is required and it is free to join. SSP supplies chess boards and game pieces. For more information, call Leslie at 618-465-3298 ext. 123.
