Olive Oil Marketplace is a local family owned and operated gourmet market since 2011 educating and selling in different Festivals, Fairs, and Events. July 2012 marked the opening of our first brick and mortar location in Downtown Alton.

Olive Oil Marketplace offers our customers the finest quality 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oils from top olive farms in Morocco, Tunisian, Italy, Chile, Spain, and Greece.  You can fill your bottle from Stainless Steel Fustis.  Choose from traditional to those infused with natural flavors, such as Roasted Garlic, Portobello & Garlic, Italian Herb, and Lemon Pepper Olive Oils.  There are more than 30 flavored Olive Oils available.                

To complement the oils, Olive Oil Marketplace stocks over 30 flavored Balsamic Vinegars imported from Modena, Italy, adding an incredible punch to any dish, “Raspberry, Lemon, Mango, Chocolate, the Traditional, and many, many more flavors opening up a whole new world of cooking!”     

Our Mission is to present all families with the life changing Gospel message and to bridge the gap of race and culture in our communities.

Our Story

The idea for Paper Planes Ministries began with David being told the simple yet life changing story of the Gospel at the age of 15. Since then he has had a passion to go to poverty stricken and violent communities to tell others about the story of Jesus Christ. Now with his wife Emily, they are committed to doing just that. The idea for Paper Planes is not an institution, not a building, but a ministry whose goal is to transport kids and families by bus from the projects to a place where they can feel safe, loved, and at home: the local church. We believe that God will use Paper Planes Ministries to revitalize their communities from being filled with drugs, violence, and poverty to being filled with the life, hope, and love that the story of Jesus Christ has to offer.

Shop with us for unique and custom gifts & paint with us at our DIY workshops ~ Sign Making, Wall/Door Decor & Canvas Painting are our specialties. Conveniently located in downtown Alton ~ Party On Broadway offers Monograms ~ Wall Words ~ Pinterest Ideas. Create your own masterpiece with our wood and canvas projects. We offer individual classes and group parties for adults and children. We are both a retail shop, where you can come in and create and a mobile art studio.

Patty's Petals has been a family-owned and operated business located in Godfrey since 2011. We specialize in fresh and silk wedding design but also offer prom, homecoming, baby/bridal shower and home decor floral creations. 

All fresh flowers include our free delivery to ensure your flowers are hydrated and fresh for your big day. Patty started working with flowers in 1971 under the guidance of designers John Lock and Toi Warner at Lock's Floral in Alton IL. Other staff members include her favorite daughter-in-law, Missy Seymour, both of her beautiful daughters Tara and Amanda and even the grandkids have jobs. At Patty's Petals, we pride ourselves on creating floral designs that will complement your big day.

In the summer of 2019, our beloved husbands installed a walk-in cooler for us.  Making it so now there is no event to big or too small for us to accomplish.
