About the Presenter:
Lauryn G. Ferro, CEP, Learning & Engagement, Human Resources, Oakland Country
Lauren has been employed by Oakland County, for 21 years. For the first 18.5 years, she was as an Intensive Probation Officer in the 52-1 District Court’s Treatment Courts’ Programs then moved on as the lead trainer for the Learning and Development Unit in Human Resources .For the past year she has served as the Supervisor for the Learning and Engagement unit within Human Resources. She has over 25 years of experience in program development and educational instructing; starting at the age of 16 teaching physical education classes. Lauryn has continued throughout the years, training at a variety of fitness studios and conducting not only physical education, but nutrition, mental well-being, and cognitive behavioral classes.
