Echoes of Influence: Tracing the Legacy and Evolution of Sheboygan Senior Community
Sheboygan, WI – September 24, 2024 – Sheboygan Senior Community (SSC) is thrilled to announce its first exhibition since the pandemic, “Echoes of Influence: Tracing the Legacy and Evolution of Sheboygan Senior Community.” This special event will take place on Friday, October 18, with a resident viewing from 2 PM to 4 PM and a public viewing from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Echoes of Influence will explore SSC’s rich history, celebrating the individuals who have shaped our community over the years. Melissa Thiel, Director of Life Enrichment, shares, “This exhibition highlights the powerful role that memories, emotions, and connections to people, places, and moments play in our lives. The artists' works are not only visually captivating but also evoke a deep sense of personal nostalgia.”
Attendees will enjoy a gallery of artwork created by community members, residents, and staff, honoring SSC’s heritage and ongoing evolution.
Paul Treffert, CEO of SSC, adds, "Echoes of Influence honors the contributions that have shaped our community and connects the history of our downtown facility to our beautiful new campus on County Rd Y. It’s a wonderful way to reconnect with those
who helped get us here and reflect on our shared legacy."
