Sunflower House is a child abuse prevention agency serving children in Johnson and Wyandotte Counties.  Sunflower House provides personal safety education for children, mandated reporter training and child abuse prevention education for professionals and caring adults.  It also coordinates a multi-disciplinary response to child sexual and physical abuse allegations, including forensic interviews, medical examinations, family advocacy and therapy.

The Mission Project empowers adults with developmental disabilities to live independently and productively in community with individualized support.  Program participants enjoy living in their own apartments in Mission, Kansas.  Like others their age, they hold jobs, pay bills, cook meals, and socialize with friends.  They exercise, travel together, and serve their community. In short, they live fully.
