I have spent my entire career in the food/event industry. I started out as a busser in Grand Forks, ND at a buffet restaurant and worked my way up to assistant store manager within 3 years. The last 2 years of my time in that store, my role was as catering manager. In 2005, our family decided to relocated to Minot and we continued to work for the restaurant company. In 2009, we founded Hometown Elegance Catering & Event Planning as a way to provide a differenent level of service to the Minot area. In 2010, I was able to go full time with the company. Today, our company has evolved from an outstanding catering company to now an event production company. Today, Hometown Elegance (modified name) provided catering services, decor services, linen rentals, furniture rentals, event lighting, custom floral services and a host of other elements that make an event spectacular. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only company of our type in the state of North Dakota. Our foundational principle is that Minot deserves better. That is the underlining pricinciple that drives us to excellance. To date, that principle has been expanded to other areas as our service area has greatly expanded as far east as Rugby, as far west as Sidney, MT, as far south as Bismarck and as far north as the Canadian border. We treat each event we create as if we are invited guests and it is an honor and priviledge to play a part in the celebration.
