The Shawnee Public Library is located in historic downtown Shawnee at the corner of Main and Philadelphia, and is open seven days a week. The library is a member of the Pioneer Library System (PLS) which serves the residents of Cleveland, McClain and Pottawatomie Counties through 12 branches in 10 communities. As part of a larger system, the Shawnee Public Library has access to resources, services and programs to benefit everyone across the service area. PLS is fueled by a belief that by working individually we can make a difference, but together we are transformative.
