Laredo, Texas, April 18, 2018 — GCAM, Inc. (GCAM) will honor and celebrate the fifth-year anniversary of its plasma donation center in Laredo, TX. A ceremony and reception are scheduled to occur on April 18, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the GCAM Laredo, TX center located at 813 Grant Street, Laredo, TX as a thank you to all the donors and staff who have aided GCAM in saving lives and serving the local community.
Local members of the Chamber of Commerce, members of the San Agustin Cathedral clergy, the CEO and staff members from GCAM’s corporate and regional offices, and GCAM’s plasma donors will be in attendance. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, music, a DJ, the opportunity to win prizes in a raffle, and free food and refreshments will be available during the reception.
The reception will also be recorded and aired live on Laredo’s local radio stations. GCAM Laredo wants to take the time to thank its donors and staff for helping GCAM collect the life-saving plasma that is used to keep patients with chronic illness alive and create the medications and vaccines that many of us use in our everyday lives.
GCAM knows that its donors are
very important because plasma cannot be prepared synthetically and many
patients with rare and chronic illnesses rely on plasma donations. This
reception aims to thank them and encourage more people to participate.
GCAM, Inc. (GCAM) is an affiliate company of GC Pharma, which became the first company in South Korea and the sixth company in the world to establish a plasma fractionation plant in 1971. GCAM and GC Pharma are a part of the Green Cross Holdings Corporation, which manufactures medicines and medical supplies. GCAM’s centers pride themselves on harvesting quality plasma in a pleasant, relaxing environment, and its focus is on donor safety and satisfaction.
