"Explore the Outdoors" is the official field guide featuring outdoor activities in the Lebanon Valley. Visit Lebanon Valley was able to create the field guide with help from the Williams Atlantic Sunrise Grant program.
How can you explore the Lebanon Valley's wild side? Watch thousands of snow geese as they rest on their migration to the Arctic. Tour grasslands preserved for an endangered butterfly. Learn bouldering and climb an observation tower for a bird's eye view of the area. Take a canal tour through the oldest exisiting transportation tunnel in the United States. Enjoy a kayak trip down the Swatara Creek. From state parks to boke trails, outdoor music and entertainment, year-round activites, the Lebanon Valley is the place to explore your wild side.
