Lebanon Valley Chamber Celebrates National Chamber of Commerce Week

The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to celebrate National Chamber of Commerce Week beginning Monday, October 16 to Friday, October 20. The week will be marked with numerous events showcasing the chamber and its members.
On Monday, October 16 the chamber staff will hit the road traveling to member businesses to record short video clips with business representatives. These videos will be used to promote each business through the chamber’s social media channels.
Tuesday, October 17 is the chamber’s annual Networking and Non-Profits event held at Hebron Banquet Hall from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This event showcases member non-profit organizations from the Lebanon Valley. Attendees can network with the organizations and learn about their incredible work. During this event, the chamber will announce the three finalists for the 2023 Non-Profit of the Year Award. The award winner is announced during the chamber’s annual Membership Breakfast and Awards event in December.
Wednesday, October 18 is the Chamber’s Open House from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Members and not-yet-members are encouraged to visit to get a refresher on membership benefits including discount programs, and professional development opportunities. From 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., the Chamber will host Froggy Valley for a radio remote where members will have the opportunity to speak live on-air about their business or organization.
Thursday, October 19 the Chamber’s Women in Business Committee is holding a special program The Impact of Mentoring Women. A panel of ATHENA Awardees and community leaders will join special guest and ATHENA International CEO, Traci Costa to discuss how mentoring is an essential part of professional success. The event is at the chamber office from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All week, non-members can join without an application fee and a bonus of 6 months of membership at no extra cost.
