The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Pc Christian Radio on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.  The ceremony was held at their facility at The Duncan Center, 500 W. Loockerman Street in Dover. Chamber staff, ambassadors, and friends joined the folks at PC Christian Radio to celebrate their grand opening!

PC Christian Radio is a ministry of Pompano Christian Center (PCC) and has been operating online for two years. Pompano Christian Center was originally founded in 2009 in Florida – the Center was relocated to Dover, Delaware in 2012. Located on Dupont Highway, PCC’s focus is to “carry out the mission of Jesus – to seek what was lost.” It is their hope that a physical location for their radio ministry will enable them to do just that. The church’s vision is to unite the Dover community and provide a space in which gospel artists can share their message.

Through informational technology, listeners will be informed of Christian events, festivals, and Bible study opportunities – they will have access to activities that will give them the power to improve their lives. PC Christian radio will offer Christian and gospel music to the Dover area, as well as community announcements. Their playlist and on-air conversations will promote the gospel music industry.

Proud to be a part of the Dover community, the folks at PC Christian Radio are glad to find ways to serve the community. The radio station will provide information that will assist listeners in knowing where to go to find help. They are planning to host free concerts and community giveaways. This year, they are hosting a toy giveaway for children in the area. The radio station will also provide jobs - they are planning to employ ten people by the end of the year. For PC Christian Radio, community service is a priority - their work is not just about preaching... it's about reaching.
