Description:

South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit working to end poverty on the South Shore - is expanding its Transportation Program and has multiple openings for full-time Van Drivers for our Plymouth, South Shore and Attleboro/Taunton routes.

As a Van Driver for SSCAC, you'll have access to state-of-the-art fleet of multipassenger accessible vehicles, cellphone, tablet, all equipment issued upon completion of training.

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Transportation of medically involved clients to a variety of appointments throughout the South Shore, Taunton, Attleboro, and Boston.
Providing safe and efficient transportation for ambulatory and wheelchair bound clients using our state-of-the-art fleet of equipment.
Responsible for daily online paperwork and communication with the Transportation Office.
Responsible for all agency owned equipment, including tablet and cellphone.
Company vehicles are housed on company premises.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid MA state driver’s license, with Clean RMV Driving Record last three years.
Background Check with Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening.
Ability to pass a CORI/SORI check pre-employment post interview.
Must be competent on computer tablet for driving routes and paperwork.
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to speak and understand English.
Flexibility within the program.
