General Job Summary:  This is a part-time, 27.5 hours/week, day position, located on the Spencer Campus. Primary duties are to perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning walls, floors, carpets, equipment, whiteboards, etc. Responsible for grounds pick-up, lawn care and snow removal. Work with cleaning equipment, expendable cleaning supplies. Job duties may be performed at all campuses and in all buildings or facilities. Holiday, evening, and weekend work required. This is an “essential” personnel position and will require the employee to work during periods of adverse weather and when the college is closed. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle.

 

 Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:  High School diploma or willingness to obtain equivalency required. Experience as a custodian or housekeeper preferred.
