Our busy optometric office is seeking a dedicated, dependable individual who shares our high-quality patient care philosophy. This position requires attention to detail, proficient communication and computer skills, multitasking ability, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. We are a patient-centered practice, so a successful candidate must enjoy people. No experience in eye care or health care is necessary, as we are willing to ?invest time in training the right person; however, experience in an office setting is helpful.

Requirements

Primary duties include:

Conducting patient workups

Performing diagnostic testing, including OCTs, Visual Fields, and Retinal Photos

Assisting the physician with the patient’s exam

Scribing and billing for the exam

Assisting patients with optical needs

Dispensing, adjusting, and fixing glasses for patients

Performing front desk duties

Performing other duties as needed
