Tools for Parenting are lessons that will help you to become a better parents, grandparents, or caregivers. The classes are free. The classes will cover the following topics. Child Growth and Development and Age Appropriate Activities, Communication, Disciplines, Dealing with Anger, Child Health and Food Safety, Growing Healthy, Happy Children with MyPlate, and Shopping Strategies to Stretch your Food Dollars. 

                Participants completing the parenting class will receive 8 hours in parenting. Individuals and families should sign up no later than February 20. For more information and/or to register call the Parker County Extension office at 817-598-6168.
