Texas AgriLife Extension will offer a Safe Sitter course during Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The class will take place at the Parker County Extension Office at 604 North Main Street in Weatherford, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

                Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls ages 11 and up how to handle emergencies when caring for children. The class teaches safe and nutrition child care techniques, behavior management skills and appropriate responses to medical emergencies including CPR, but will not include CPR certification.

                The cost of the program is $50 that will cover materials and lunch. To register for Safe Sitter, call the Parker County Extension office at 817-598-6168.
