WISD Education Foundation - School Supply/Backpack Drive
We want every child to experience the excitement of the first day of school and to have a great beginning to the school year. The Weatherford ISD Education Foundation provides over 1,200 students with school supplies each year because we don't ever want a child to enter school on the first day without the supplies they need and a backpack. This program also supports teachers who no longer have to use their personal funds to provide supplies for students in their classroom. The Foundation's School Supply Closet is available throughout the year to any family or teacher who might need supplies for a child in need. Over 15,000 children have benefited from the School Supply Closet since the program's inception during the 2003-2004 school year.
Requesting Assistance
Parents needing school supplies for their children should contact their child's campus main office for assistance.
For more information, please contact the Education Foundation Office at 817-598-2956 or by email to clagrone@weatherfordisd.com .
