No flammable liquids, shingles, wet paint or chemicals will be accepted. Separate all items and bag securely to speed unloading and reduce labor. All Parker County residents may go to the closest collection site.

Spring Fling at Chandor Gardens

 

Help us celebrate the arrival of a long-awaited spring season in the gardens at our annual “Spring Fling”! This popular event features music, food, area artists and craftsman.

Every year, our list of talented participating artists and vendors grows and this year will be no exception. The gardens will be loaded with talented people displaying, demonstrating and selling their unique arts and crafts.

So come on out and see the gardens in full bloom and bring your camera for a special family photo or two!

As we grow and expand this popular event every year, we’re always looking for new and talented artists and craftsmen to come join in on the celebration and display/sell your goods to the public. This event is FREE (YES, FREE!) to all vendors. We are opening the gates at 9am for vendor set up and allowing to 5pm for vendor break down. During the month of April from the 3rd to the 27th you are to visit each sponsoring business listed on the flyer.  BUsiness hours are listed to make it convenient.  The business will stamp your flyer to show you were there.  ON April 27 from 4-6 we will have a mixer to draw for the jackpot.  You must have visited all participating sponsors to be eligible for the jackpot.  Anyone is eligible to win a door prize that participates.

Parker County Retired Teachers Association Meeting

PCRTA will hold their April meeting on Tuesday, April 4, beginning at 11:30 AM.   A Mexican food lunch ($8) will be served followed by a short business meeting.   The program will be the annual fundraising auction.   Members are encouraged to bring items such as home decor, crafts, plants, baked goods, etc.   A silent auction will also be held.

The Passover Experience

The Passover Experience

Learn the origins and celebrations of the Passover, in which Jesus participated at his Last Supper.

Embark on an outdoor, interactive walk-through experience that whisks you away to explore the Biblical Passover in the Old and New Testaments.

Our guided living HIStory tours are outdoors.  Please dress accordingly, walking shoes are recommended.

$20 for general admission adults (12 and up)

$18 for seniors (62 and up) and kids (3-11)

Kids 2 and under are free
