Civil War 'Living History Reenactment'

This year's annual spring encampment depicts the Seven Days Campaign illustrating six major battles between the Army of Northern Virginia and the Union Army of the Potomac that took place over seven days in Richmond, Virginia in 1862. The battle of Fair Oaks, the featured battle on Saturday, set the Seven Days Campaign in motion. Other activities include a Civil War hospital, daily life in camps and a Ladies' Social on Saturday. Food is available for purchase at the event.
$10 per family, $5 per adult, $4 per senior (60 & over)

Daddy Daughter Dance

Dads Works' 6th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

Dads Works is excited to announce its 6th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, June 17th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. where Dads can make memories with their daughters that last a lifetime. Dance date is  The dance is well liked, heavily publicized and well attended with many participants returning from previous years. Approximately 120 Dads, their daughters, and volunteers enjoy this event annually. 

Ticket cost is $35 for each Dad, and daughters attend free! Ticket purchase includes appetizers, a meal with dessert and drinks, dancing to a live band, door prizes, a parting gift for each daughter with sponsor gifts for her and her family, a free professional photo of each father/daughter(s), and raffle opportunities from our gracious donors. 

Many of the same sponsors and donors have participated over the years, with more being added each year.  Sponsors receive lasting benefits beyond the night of the dance through yearlong exposure, recognition, and marketing opportunities.  Sponsors may opt to create a customized sponsorship or participate at levels on the sponsorship form.
