Economic Forecast

The Economic Forecast speakers provide valuable insights into economic trends, market conditions, and financial projections for the coming year. This forecast event is designed to equip Chamber Members with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions in a rapidly changing economic landscape.

Paul Traub

Paul Traub (BBA, MBA) currently is an economic consultant for Americas Commercial Transportation Research Company, LLC (ACT Research). Previously he was Chief Economist for ACT Research, was Senior Business Economist at the Detroit branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and was an economist with Chrysler LLC, ending his tenure there as Chief Economist.                  

Traub was adjunct faculty at Oakland University in the School of Business and has served on advisory boards for Oakland University, Baker College, and Lawrence Technological University. At the Fed, Traub co-created the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Detroit Economic Activity Index and was a frequent contributor to the Midwest Economy and Michigan Economy blogs. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and an M.B.A. from Oakland University.
