Minot Area Council of the Arts (MACA) is a non profit organization. MACA's mission: "Connecting Artists. Building Community. Fostering Possibilities." MACA produces local cultural events through a combination of volunteerism, individual donations, sponsorships, contracts for services with public and private entities, and grants. Proceeds from any MACA event are used to 1) cover expenses and 2) generate more cultural activities in the greater Minot area. Evidence of MACA's success in the endeavor can be found in the growing statistics on culutural events scheduled each year since 2000.
