The Minot Area Chamber EDC is made up of nearly 700 members in Minot. They know the importance of one voice. Whether it is home based businesses, family run stores or corporations, they all make up this organization. While one member may not have the influence to make things happen locally, statewide or nationally, together, 700 members can make a difference. Being a Chamber EDC member means different things to different member investors. For some, the networking opportunities keep them connected with current and potential clients. For others, the website exposure provides a vital marketing tool to connect the outside world with Minot, ND. And still others like the involvement in the numerous committees that work to make a difference for the business community and the city. The staff of six at the Minot Area Chamber EDC has the knowledge and expertise to help in promoting members but to also work on the issues that affect the business community. The Northwest Area Water Supply project, Minot Air Force Base, and the city’s infrastructure are some of the issues the Chamber EDC has been working to enhance. www.minotchamberedc.com
