Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) earned the 180th spot nationally in the 2020 list of Top 200 Community Banks and Thrifts, as ranked by American
Banker magazine.
JBT is the only community bank based in Lebanon, Lancaster and Berks
Counties to appear on the list. This is the 12th consecutive year that JBT has
earned this Top 200 national ranking.
A total of 511 community banks and
thrifts nationwide with total assets of less than $2 billion were qualified to
be evaluated by three-year average Return On Average Equity (ROAE) through
12/31/2019, and rankings were based on an analysis by Capital Performance Group of S&P
Global Market Intelligence data.
JBT had a 3-year average ROAE of 9.57%.
