September 3 - 30: Kingsbury History Pop-Up! Learn about the town of Kingsbury in the eighth of our Towns of La Porte County Pop-Up exhibits. Highlights include items from the high school, famous residents, and business memorabilia.

September 14: Kingsbury Free Admission Day! All Kingsbury residents will receive Free Admission to the Museum on Saturday, September 14th! Come see the Kingsbury Pop-Up exhibit to learn more about your town! 

September 17: Historian of the Year Awards! Celebrate local historians from the past and the present at the annual Historian of the Year program at the Museum at 7:00pm. 

September 17: Lost Cemeteries of La Porte County Exhibit! Learn about the various cemeteries of La Porte County that no longer exist and have been lost to time. This exhibit will be on display until November 27.

September 18: Veteran Free Day! To honor Air Force Founding Day, all veterans and active duty military are welcome to come to the Museum free of charge.

September 27: Lost Landmarks of Indianapolis Traveling Exhibit! This traveling exhibit explores the important buildings of Indy that have been lost and how the demolitions of mid-twentieth century led to a movement that challenged ideas about what should be destroyed and what should be saved. This exhibit will be on display until November 7.
