After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from The Kansas City Art Institute, ­­Tom moved to Detroit and began a career in advertising. In over 30 years in marketing and advertising, he’s been able to apply all the skills he had acquired over that time: art director, illustrator, photographer and graphic designer. He’s also produced and directed television commercials and sales videos. In addition to his BFA from KCAI, Tom did graduate work in film editing and film history at the University of Wisconsin/Milwaukee.­­
