Campaign Field Manager, Plymouth MA

Overview. Manage all field manager responsibilities of a political campaign for a Democratic candidate for State Representative.  Responsible for overseeing the week- to-week operations of the campaign. They should be able to work closely with the candidate to develop and implement strategies for a successful campaign. They must be able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a clear focus on winning the election.  

Job Duties.

• Develop and coordinate a door knocking campaign that will need to reach thousands of households. Recruit volunteers from a volunteer list. Door knocking campaigns will be in Plymouth. Some knowledge and proximity to Plymouth is necessary.
• Develop door knocking routes including the selection of target households using the VAN platform and database. Training is available to learn this platform.
• Develop and coordinate  campaign events such as rallies and stand outs.
• Assist with the development and execution of posts on social media.
• Assist in developing and executing advertising efforts such as mailings, newsprint, and other.
• Research and analysis of campaign issues.

Requirements and Experience.

=       College Degree or enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.

=      Experience on political campaigns.

=      Experience recruiting and organizing volunteers.

=      Experience with social media.

=      Knowledge of VAN is required. Training is available.

=      Access to a car

=      Experience with canvassing, developing, and managing canvassing activities.

Timing and salary.

=      The position begins in May 2024 and runs through the election on Nov 8.

=      Approximately 5-10  hours per week through May then ramp up to 10-15 hours per week, some evenings and weekend work are required.

=      Pay at $30 per hour.
