Integrity Staffing Group has partnered with a revered company in Muskogee, Oklahoma that is seeking a Project Manager OR Project Engineer to join their team. They will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating assigned projects. This position is key in developing and maintaining relationships with customers as well as developing sales opportunities with new clients and making sure projects remain profitable. You will be providing accurate cost estimates and support for product manufacturing, construction projects or services as required by customers documents.



Responsibilities:
  • Participate and contribute to all aspects of projects including estimating and the generation of proposals as well as coordination of each job (purchasing, tool-crib, kick-off meetings, site specific safety plans, shop fabrication, etc.)
  • Coordinate Design and Engineering efforts that are needed for the project(s)
  • Maintain coordination of documentation procedures among the appropriate parties such as the owner, customer, sub-contractors, and shop or field services.
  • Proactively work to grow and expand customer relationships and identify opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Accountable for the profitability of assigned projects
  • Visit job sites on a regular basis to properly monitor job progress and to reinforce company policies and procedures, specifically safety
  • Coordinate with appropriate team members in order to manage the project budget, cost accounting, forecast and cost control measures in order to accurately forecast percent complete and job profitability during the billing process.
  • Manage and review all change order requests or Additional Work Authorizations
  • Ensure that all local union staffing requests and reporting issues are addressed with Human Resources in a timely manner
  • Assist with verifying material charge outs, inventory, and organization/filing of paperwork.
  • Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
  • Analyze drawings, prints, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, material and labor estimates
  • Review estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
  • Work with appropriate internal departments to maintain current project files
  • Visit job sites as necessary
  • Prepare documents for quotations from vendors
  • Attend all required job status meetings. Will also assist in the scheduling and follow-up required post meeting
Additional Notes on the Role:
  • Will indirectly supervise Field Crews working on this position's job(s).
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • The employee may travel from 25% - 50% with a large portion of travel requirements consisting of day trips within the region with some trips requiring overnight stays. If on an active project travel will vary to ensure a successful project.
  • Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Timberline estimating
  • Ability to work with a diverse set of personalities at all levels of the organization (both internally and externally)
  • Must have excellent math and analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel) REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience and education
  • At least 5 years of estimating experience
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a construction/industrial construction environment
  • HUGE PLUS if you have AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks experience
