About this position: This position provides professional and responsible planning assistance under one or more units within the Planning and Zoning Department. This position is responsible for administering the Flood Plain Management Program and Subdivision Code. The individual in this role will perform duties such as the following:
- Reviewing Plans
- Preparing Plans
- Follow-up processing
- Assisting with Special Projects
- Responding to questions and requests for information from the public, departments, state agencies, and elected officials
- Researching land records for HOA documents, deeds, and right-of-way information
- Providing information to property owners, engineers, surveyors, and the public in support of the Subdivision Review Process
- Administers the County Flood Plain Management Program and subdivision code
- Ability to obtain and manage grants
