Overview:
The Barker Mansion is seeking
enthusiastic and dedicated part-time staff to join our team. As a part-time
staff member, you will assist with guest visits, special events, programming,
and weddings, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. This position
is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a historic setting and
providing excellent customer service.
Guest Services:
Welcome and assist visitors upon
arrival.
Provide information about the mansion’s history, exhibits, and events.
Answer guest inquiries and
ensure a positive visitor experience.
Assist with administrative tasks
such as answering phones, managing reservations, and processing payments.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Mansion’s management team.
Assist with the setup,
execution, and breakdown of special events, including but not limited to
weddings, receptions, corporate events, and public programs.
Ensure all event areas are
clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills.
Strong customer service
orientation.
Ability to work independently
and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various
shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Interest in history, culture,
and event management is a plus.
Previous experience in customer
service, hospitality, or event planning is preferred.
