General Job Summary: This is a part-time per course contracted position based on need as determined by the Dean of CTE and Workforce. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. Must meet Adjunct Faculty qualifications.

This position is for an adjunct Automotive Technology Instructor and may include labs in Automatic Transmissions, Engine Performance and Diagnostics, Manual Drivetrains, Automotive Brake Systems, Engine Repair, Heating and A/C Systems, Suspension and Steering, Hybrid Vehicles, and Engine Rebuilds on the Emmetsburg Campus for Spring semester 2025. Days and times to be determined. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance.

 

 Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 6,000 hours (3 years) of tested experience OR an associate degree in the field and 3,000 hours (1½ years) of tested experience.

Salary:  $675 per credit. Classes may vary from one to three credit hours.
