Community Outreach Specialist is charged with planning and overseeing educational workshops, support groups, presentations and programing offered by Family Partners of Morris & Sussex Counties. The position is responsible for providing education and training to families, professionals and community members while working closely with staff members. The position is also responsible for carrying out the Youth Partnership Mission by developing a youth program to provide social, recreational and leadership opportunities for youth ages 13 - 21 who may be affected by emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges. Maintaining the organization's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated, as well as creating compelling newsletters, engaging media content and press releases for distribution.  

The Community Outreach Specialist position is also responsible for participating in local and state policy committees and work groups as organized by the Division of Child Behavioral Health Services. This position serves as a liaison between other organizations within the community that share similar goals. Strong marketing and advertising experience required and knowledge of the New Jersey Children’s System of Care.
