The Public Safety Building Manager plans, directs, and oversees maintenance activities at the Public Safety Building including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and property and grounds maintenance.
- Oversee the daily maintenance and operations of the Public Safety Building.
- Building maintenance scheduling to include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system repairs.
- Coordinate maintenance operations with vendors and subcontractors.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of various building systems.
- Maintain and update preventative maintenance schedule.
- Supervise the repair of walls, office furniture, doors, door hardware, and other building systems as necessary.
- Manage and supervise building maintenance staff.
- Assist with budget development for capital and general maintenance projects for
- the facility.
- Coordinate daily work schedules with PSB staff.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
