In observance of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day,
Penn State Health will provide an opportunity to drop off unwanted, unneeded or
expired medication for safe disposal on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. at the following drive-through locations:
- Academic
Support Building, 90 Hope Dr., Hershey (on the Milton S. Hershey Medical
Center campus)
- Penn
State Health Medical Group – Elizabethtown, 1 Continental Drive,
Elizabethtown
- Penn
State Health Medical Group – Nyes Road, 121 N. Nyes Road, Harrisburg
- Penn
State Health Medical Group – Palmyra, 941 Park Drive, Palmyra
- Penn
State Health Specialty Services, 429 N. 21st Street, Camp
Hill (on the Holy Spirit Medical Center campus)
- Penn
State Health Lancaster Medical Center, 2160 State Road, Lancaster
- Penn
State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, 2500 Bernville Road, Reading
In addition to medication, needles and syringes will be
accepted.
The event is in partnership with the DEA and the Bern
Township, Derry Township, East Hempfield Township, East Pennsboro Township,
Elizabethtown Borough, Lower Paxton Township and North Londonderry Township police
departments.
