Ribbon Cutting - Coastal Palliative Care

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite you to join Coastal Palliative Care for a ribbon cutting celebrating the newly added Palliative Care Clinic at their Healthway Drive location.

Coastal Palliative Care provides specialized medical care and helps patients suffering from a serious illness that is causing difficult symptoms and impacting their quality of life. Patients can receive palliative care while receiving treatments for their illness.

Coastal Palliative Care is a community based medical program helping to meet the needs of patients with serious illnesses while they continue to receive curative treatments, testing, medications and other therapies. We work as part of the medical team collaborating with primary care providers and specialists to address symptom management and provide other supportive services. Currently patients can be seen in our clinic or at home if necessary. For more information visit coastalpalliativecare.org.

UWLES helps empower Lower Shore residents to achieve better health by addressing barriers to care, educational success by reducing the achievement gap between low- and middle-income students, and financial stability by advancing the economic security of families and individuals.     Taste of the Town with Delmarva Eats

    The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, Evolution Craft Brewing Co. and Southern Boys Concepts are pleased to announce that the 16th Annual Taste of the Town with Delmarva Eats will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Dove Pointe in Salisbury, MD.

    This "Iron Chef Competition" features restaurants from all across Delmarva, who will present samplings of their best dishes in one of three categories: 

    Simple Tastes - represents casual, light fare

    Signature Tastes - represents upscale, more refined dishes

    Delectable Dessert - represents the creme de la creme of Delmarva desserts

    Attendees have tickets used to cast their vote in each category. The participant with the most votes wins their category and is presented with a commemorative plaque, cash prize, and recognition in the media and on Chamber websites.

    Music will be provided by DJ Randy Potter, Revive Sound Productions, LLC.

    The 2nd Annual Law Enforcement Leaders of Delmarva Forum will be held during the June General Membership Breakfast on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.

    Leaders from police agencies across Delmarva will gather and share challenges and opportunities facing their respective departments. The event is presented by Absolute Security Group, Inc. and Colonial Life.

    Topics that will be discussed include juvenile crime, how each agency is adapting to the changing political landscape, staffing challenges and what future opportunities and obstacles lie ahead. Wicomico County States Attorney Jamie Dykes will moderate the forum.

    2025 Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic

    The 2025 Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, presented by Spicer Brothers Construction, will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at River Marsh Golf Club in Cambridge, MD. 

     

    This is the SACC premier networking event of the year, where business experts and community leaders from all over Delmarva gather for a golf tournament like no other.  

     

    Participants say this tournament is unique, enjoyable, and a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and make new connections!

     

    The day’s festivities will begin with registration and breakfast starting at 8:00 AM, followed by a 50/50 Ball Drop on the driving range.

     

    The shotgun start is at 9:00 AM. Registration for foursomes or single-player includes:

     

    • greens fees, golf cart fees, breakfast, beverages, a goody bag, and range balls
    • group photographs after the event
    • awards luncheon after the tournament

     

    Mulligan packages are available for $30 and include three chances for the 50/50 Ball Drop Raffle.
