1989 Manager of the Market – CCRC
1990 I trained in the American Restaurant – became part of their catering team – fell in love white glove service and 5 star cuisine. Eventually became a partner in Silver Star Service providing Catering Staff and Bar Tenders to Country Clubs and unique Caterers throughout Kansas City. I worked closely with Gina and John Reardon at Catering by Design in various capacities and enjoyed learning from these amazing Chefs while providing their clients with exceptional service.
In 1997, I left the catering world to follow my dream of becoming a flight attendant, which I enjoyed for 27 years – 22 of which has been in Private service at Herzog Contracting Corporation. During that time, the need and desire for high quality food on board the aircraft inspired me to begin a small inflight catering business of my own with Herzog Corporation being my main client.
In my spare time in 2014-2016 I sold real estate for Remax Revolution. I had a blast simultaniously flying, catering, selling real estate and raising my 2 beautiful children, until we relocated to Hout Bay, South Africa.
After returning to the US, my husband and I had a vision for a restaurant in downtown Parkville, MO, which came to fruition October 2024; Prima Facie Bistro and Market was born. I know oversee management of the Bistro and the Market, Catering and Inflight.
